Paul Steele LLB

Paul is the founder and a director of Law Tune-Up Ltd. Paul’s background  includes a decade as a practising lawyer (commercial and conveyancing,  and personal services work) with Buddle Findlay and its predecessor in their Wellington office.

From 1991 to 2007 Paul worked in the Legal Publishing Industry in New Zealand for the principal publishers Butterworths (now Lexis Nexis) and Brookers (now Thomson Brookers) in Sales and Account Management roles. This background is unique in New Zealand.

The Legal Profession in particular is undergoing significant change brought about by a number of factors including de-regulation and increasing specialisation. Competitive pressures both from within and outside the Legal Profession are at work.

Paul works with customers to help them protect and position their businesses for this continually changing environment.

“What drives me is to see customers improve their efficiencies, reduce their risk profile and secure greater profitability and enjoyment in their work.” says Paul.

In 2011 Paul became a founding member of Law Management Group, an association of leading independent professional services consultants.

Paul is a cricket tragic. He is a committee member and past President of the Wellington Wanderers Cricket Club, a promoter of secondary school cricket in the Wellington Region.
